Alien Pop Stars!

When it rains, it pours...Aliens! And not in a bad way. I just watched the worldwide release of Katy Perry's E.T. Video featuring Kanye West. Although I hadn't heard the song before, I liked it so much that It could become my favorite Katy Perry hit so far. However, it resembled Lady Gaga's Born this Way video with the whole "Alien and alternate dimensions" theme.

Both Katy and Gaga float in outer space with their alien makeup, elaborate hair pieces and pointy fingernails, and its cool... just no more E.T. videos for now. I just found it a bit odd that two self proclaimed original beacons expression came up with alien extra terrestrial videos for their new singles.

Resemblance? Anyone?

Lick the Rainbow! Taste the Rainbow!

Skittles has done it again! They really are a brand that knows their audience, understands them and loves to please the heck out of them! They run ads that have nothing to do with candy and eventually go viral! I hope they keep it that way.

I still love their Tube Sock commercial and actually imitated it by rubbing my feet vigorously on the carpet and then attacking my husband with my fingertip... BZZT!

Recently, Skittles introduced their latest video ad, where you're encouraged to interact with the video by touching

Own a Small Business? Open a Store on Facebook!

Do you own a small business? Are you starting one up or working from home? If you are, you might want to stick around and read this post.

EBay and Amazon have positioned themselves as the top e-commerce stores in the world. They have allowed users to sell their items, new or used, without needing a dedicated business website. They will charge the sellers a pre-established fee or percentage of every sale. However, since more people log into Facebook than both EBay and Amazon combined, why not also sell your products there?

Sneak Peek of Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Part 2

Good Morning, Muggles! Here is one of the first previews with interviews from the set of Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows Part 2.

The beloved magical trio, Harry, Ron and Hermoine head back to Hogwarts to try and destroy Lord Voldemort's remaining horcruxes. What will happen if Lord Voldermort finds out about their mission? Guess every story comes to an end... right? You'll just have to wait until July 15 (July 14 if you live in Puerto Rico) to find out!

Angry Birds = Green Porkchops

If you're one of the 50 million + Angry Birds users, then you know the real angry one in the end is well... You. When you reach a new level, you're probably wishing to yourself "Please let me get good birds, please be good birds" until suddenly, you're stuck with the crappy, useless ones.  How does it make you feel when you have just one bird left, you aim, you let go and and and... you miss? To make matters even worse, the green oinker relishes the moment by flashing you a big mega-watt smile. Do you suddenly have the urge to eat green bacon? I know I do.

Apparently millions feel this way, so The Oatmeal has provided us with an invasive study on The Likability of Angry Birds and I couldn't agree more! What is your favorite bird? Leave a comment!

5 St. Patrick's Day Facts

That's right! Today is St. Patrick's Day!  If you're getting ready to hit the Irish Pubs tonight, here is a little ammo for when the cops pull you over... Tell them these easy to remember, fun facts and they'll let you off the hook...If you're lucky ;)
  • The very first St. Patrick's Day parade was not in Ireland. It was in Boston in 1737.
  • In Chicago, on St. Patrick's Day, the rivers are dyed green.
  • Many people wear green on this holiday to avoid being pinched. The actual color of St. Patrick is blue.
  • Legend says that each leaf of the clover means something: the first is for hope, the second for faith, the third for love and the fourth for luck.
  • As my good friend, Rose debates, in Irish beliefs, St. Patrick carried around a 3-leaf clover. It represented the Holy Trinity and the 3 phases of the moon.

It's about time! I mean, Welcome to my blog!

Hey, I'm Kilory! Apparently one of the few who carry that name. I didn't choose it, I promise, but I'm glad I have it because now I get to name my Blog: Kilobits! Ha! I knew I would do something with it someday!

Welcome to Kilobits! I hope you are tired enough of looking at your Facebook statuses and Twitter updates to come and visit me! I'm really into a lot of things - News, Travel, Entertainment, Social Media and anything that will bring a smile to my face, so I hope I can keep you up to date while adding a little humor on the way. If its not funny, you don't have to tell me :D  Today is the beginning of my long awaited blog (which really has no followers right now), but we'll see how that is about to change. Get ready and get comfortable, because this is going to be a bumpy ride to the top!
"The Bumpiest ride of my Life". That's me on a bus with no windows, no doors and no seatbelts in St. Thomas. Luckily we didn't fall off!
