Emotional Fitness: 10 Instant Things To Boost Your Emotional Balance

After a year of taking it easy and using my Master's Degree as an excuse, I finally decided to take health and fitness back into my life. As a result, I enrolled in belly dancing classes and will plan a weekly fitness routine to help me stay healthy, in shape and feel better about myself.


I found this article by Dr. Barton Goldsmith, Ph.D, which I found to be necessary from time to time. Sometimes work, responsibility and stress might make us lose our emotional balance momentarily. For when that happens, he recommended 10 things to do to instantly feel better about ourselves and get that needed push into the right direction.


1. Wash your hands and face and brush your teeth: 
     It cools and cleans the part of your body that you use most frequently, which is relaxing, and gives    
     you that "fresh start" feeling.

There is no denying who steals the show on this performance. Nicki Minaj makes a surprising appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show sending little Sophia Grace in to a state of euphoria. I couldn't stop laughing because this little girl is just having the time of her life and showing her skills in front of a live audience with no slip-ups!

The best part, when she was told she was getting a shopping spree and could have anything she wants she shouts "I WANT YOUR ALBUM!!!!". Priceless.

Flash Mob @ Plaza Las Américas

¡Encontré este video y me encantó! Se formó un fiestón en el atrio central de Plaza Las Américas, con el primer flash mob en Puerto Rico, compuesto por un inmenso y diverso grupo de participantes. Lo mejor fue ver a los curiosos no poder aguantar las ganas de bailar y finalmente decidir formar parte de la diversión. A mi me encantaría ser parte de un flash mob, ¿y a tí? Habrá que esperar hasta que nos sorprendan con otro.
